Rosendal received three prestigious awards for our Barony August Cabernet Sauvignon (silver), Reserve Hilltop Shiraz (bronze), and Barony Freyja Malbec (bronze).
Our Barony August Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerful wine that fills your mouth with richness, complexity and incredible fruit notes. The wine has outstanding aromas of cassis and blackberries, followed by cedar spice and cocoa dust.
This makes it ideal for pairing with steak and béarnaise sauce or a hearty oxtail soup.
Our Reserve Hilltop Shiraz is incredibly fragrant with typical Rhone Valley notes of violets, sweet coffee and charred oak notes. The palate offers soft, fruit-cake flavours that lead to a well-structured finish. Ideally, pair this wine with roasted meats or marinated pork ribs.
Our Barony Freyja Malbec, which sold out within only a few months, was a beautiful representation of a classic Malbec.
