Today we proudly announce that Rosendal has been awarded THREE Vitis Vinifera Wine Awards! Predominantly judged by qualified consumers, we can be sure that these awards confirm our guarantee of award-winning quality wines.
All three of these Reserve wines have taken their place on the stage and are officially a vital part of any wine collection.
The Rosendal Reserve Rhone Blend 2015 was awarded Gold. This wine has a beautiful lashing crimson red, perfumed notes of spices and violets, and makes for a perfect introduction with subtle whiffs of oak and white pepper contributing to the bouquet.
The Rosendal Reserve Blue Mountain 2016 was also awarded Gold. The palate is rich and densely fruited showing black plum and hints of dark chocolate. The wine has great structure and balance and concludes in a long tapered finish.
And the Rosendal Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 was awarded Double Gold. Juicy blackberries dominate the palate which is youthful but very pure and precise. The tannins are soft with integrated oak flavours lending depth and complexity.
