We are extremely proud of our Noble Nomad red that has won Gold at the 2018 Gold Wine Awards. This Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon blend has berries and white pepper spice on the nose with savoury notes that carries through on the palate.
Very little is know about the Noble Nomad, Claus Voigts, the legend after which the Klaasvoogds area in Robertson was named. We do know, however, that he arrived in Cape Town as a German soldier, enjoyed a nomadic lifestyle and he was a prolific hunter. Some have been lucky to have crossed paths with him along their way, telling incredible stories from their journeys.
