An old time favourite. The Reserve Blue Mountain 2016 has a deep dark hue. Whafts of ripe blackcurrant infused with roasted coffee beans and tobacco leaves line the nose. The palate is rich and densely fruited showing black plum and hints of dark chocolate. The wine has great structure and balance and concludes in a long tapered finish.
Our latest release is sure to be a popular one, judging by the popularity of its predecessor, Barony August 2014, that sold out after its release last year.
The colour of this Cabernet Sauvignon is a dark garnet-rouge. The nose shows fragrant cassis, dried herb and cocoa aromas that develop into bright and vibrant red berried fruits on the palate. The wine is elegant but has great depth with juicy tannins and a fresh acidity that contributed to its length and concentration.
