This classic full-bodied blend has a deep ruby plum hue. Ripe and juicy layers of seductive blackcurrant and blackberry fruits entice the nose while whiffs of cedar add a bit of heady spice. The palate is broad and satisfying with mouthfuls of dense and dark fruits. Tannins are still firm and the wine will benefit from cellaring up to 10 years from vintage.
This wine will pair well with smoked duck breast, slow-braised beef cheeks or try with Asian barbeque lamb ribs.
