Sauvignon Blanc is one of South Africa’s Big 6. Just as the wildlife industry has the Big Five, the South African wine industry boasts the Big Six, which refers to the cultivars Sauvignon Blanc, Pinotage, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay.
The Rosendal Sauvignon Blanc 2021 was harvested from Paarl along the foothills of the majestic Simonsberg Mountain. The temperate Mediterranean climate is excellent for growing quality grapes and the farm receives plenty of sweet natural water that runs down the slopes of the mountain.
